DIRECTOR
CHAD WILLIS
Chad Willis has spent the better part of two decades coaching Division 1 volleyball at four different stops: Elon, Wake Forest, Appalachian State and currently Georgia Southern.
Chad became Georgia Southern's head volleyball coach Jan. 16, 2019, and enters his seventh season with the Eagles. Willis is the 3rd winningest coach in program history, and in his time in Statesboro, has built one of the top programs in the Sun Belt Conference and a top 50 program nationally.
Chad has extensive experience working alongside clubs throughout his coaching journey and prides himself on community engagement and passion for growing the sport of volleyball.

EFRAIN NEGRON
Coach Negron is in his 7th season at Georgia Southern, helping lead the team to back-to-back 20-win seasons and a program-best RPI of No. 53. A former collegiate libero at Lees-McRae, he has coached at Clemson, Appalachian State, and Bowling Green, developing top-ranked defensive teams and mentoring athletes to success at the conference and national levels.

PAIGE WAGERS
Wagers joined the Georgia Southern volleyball staff as Director of Player Development after two successful seasons at Eastern Kentucky.
At EKU, she totaled nearly 300 kills and 224 blocks. Before that, she played her first two seasons at Mercer, recording over 100 blocks and 200 kills.
LEAD AGE GROUP COACH

BREE BORUM
Bree Borum is in her first year as Graduate Assistant and Director of Operations for Georgia Southern women’s volleyball, while pursuing a master’s in Professional Leadership and Communication.
A 2025 graduate of Loyola University Chicago, Borum was a three-time Atlantic 10 Setter of the Year and a First-Team All-Conference selection. She totaled over 3,000 assists, 1,000 digs, and 500 kills, earning recognition as Most Outstanding Player at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship and Midwest AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention. She was also nominated for the 2025 NCAA Woman of the Year award.

MAGGIE SALE
Maggie Sale is a junior outside hitter from Severna Park, Maryland. She played in 27 matches and started 24 in 2024, recording 165 kills with a .243 hitting percentage. Sale also ranked second on the team with 84 total blocks, including 31 solo blocks. She posted double-digit kills four times and five or more blocks seven times, with a career-high eight blocks and eight kills in the NIVC Opening Round against SEMO.
Sale earned a spot on the 2022-23 Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll and was named to the GS Honor Roll in Fall 2024.

LYDIA SEYMOUR
Lydia Seymour is a junior middle blocker from Justin, Texas. In 2024, she started all 29 matches, recording 180 kills and 81 blocks. She had three double-digit kill games and a career-high 12 kills against App State. Seymour also posted 8 blocks and 4 solo blocks against Troy.
In 2023, she played nine matches at TCU and earned her first career block against No. 7 Minnesota. She was named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District and GS Dean's List Fall 2024.

LEXI DUFFY
Lexi Duffy is a redshirt sophomore setter from Murrieta, California. In the 2024 season, she played in 24 sets across 12 matches, recording 74 assists, 22 digs, two aces, and two kills. She had a standout performance with 24 assists and 12 digs against North Alabama (Aug. 31), and also notched her first career double-double with 11 assists and 12 digs against Alabama State (Sept. 19). Duffy finished third on the team in assists and earned a spot on the GS Honor Roll for Fall 2024.

KAYLA KNOWLES
Kayla is a Junior Outside hitter from Denver, Iowa. She Appeared in 11 sets across eight matches... Tallied six kills on 20 attempts and three total blocks... Made Georgia Southern debut at Auburn (Aug. 30)... Recorded first career kill against UMES (Sep. 5)... Career-best three kills at Coastal Carolina (Nov. 2)... Had a kill and two block assists at Louisiana (Nov. 15)... Recorded a kill in SBC Tournament semifinals against Arkansas State (Nov. 23).

REAGAN BARTH
Reagan Barth is a standout junior outside hitter for the Georgia Southern University women’s volleyball team. Originally from Lenexa, Kansas, she graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School, where she was a multi-sport athlete and earned several volleyball honors. At Georgia Southern, Reagan has become one of the team’s key offensive players, earning First Team All-Sun Belt recognition in both 2023 and 2024 for her impressive performances. Known for her athleticism and leadership on the court, she continues to be a driving force for the Eagles.

AVA OLSEN
Ava Olsen is a sophomore outside hitter / right‐side for the Georgia Southern women’s volleyball team.
She is from Broomfield, Colorado.
She attended Holy Family High School, where she served as team captain and earned First Team All-Conference honors and First Team Academic All-State recognition.
Before joining Georgia Southern, she played at Texas Tech, appearing in two matches her freshman year.

MADDIE CUGINO
Maddie Cugino is a sophomore defensive specialist on the Georgia Southern women’s volleyball team.
She is from Columbus, Ohio, where she attended Olentangy Orange High School.
Before joining Georgia Southern, she played at Gonzaga University, where she appeared in 93 sets in 2024 and recorded 330 digs, 51 assists, and 18 service aces.
In September 2025, she tied her career high with 25 digs in a match vs. Pacific and helped anchor GS’s defense in key wins.
Maddie is also recognized for her quick defensive instincts and contributions in the back row.

SAM BOWRON
Sam Bowron (full name Samantha Cole Bowron) is a sophomore outside hitter for the Georgia Southern women’s volleyball team.
She is from Longwood, Florida, where she attended Lake Brantley High School and played club volleyball for Top Select Volleyball Academy.
As a freshman in 2024, she appeared in 13 sets across 9 matches and recorded 29 kills, 17 digs, 6 blocks, and 2 aces.

MAYTE CAMACHO
Mayte Camacho is a sophomore defensive specialist for the Georgia Southern women’s volleyball team.
She is from Oviedo, Florida, where she attended Hagerty High School.
In her 2024 season, she played in all 29 matches (92 sets), recording 95 digs and 12 aces, and posted the highest reception percentage on the team (minimum 150 attempts) at .976.

ANNA POWELL
Anna Powell is a freshman outside hitter from Louisville, Kentucky, and attended Sacred Heart Academy.
In high school, she earned honors including KVCA All-State Honorable Mention and was named to the PrepVolleyball All-Season First Team.
She played club volleyball with Adidas KIVA 18 Red.

GABBY BABINSKI
Gabby Babinski is an outside hitter committed to the Georgia Southern women’s volleyball team.
She is from South Lyon, Michigan, where she attended South Lyon East High School.
In her senior season she recorded 390 kills, 55 aces, and 282 digs, and holds school career records for kills, aces, and digs.
She played club volleyball with Michigan Elite.
